The Broadview Security Monitored Heat and Smoke and Heat Detector

Broadview Security Monitored Smoke/Heat Detector

Can your battery-operated home smoke detector system notify help in the event of an actual fire emergency?
The Broadview Security monitored home smoke and heat detector can.

Upon detecting any smoke or unusually high temperatures, the smoke and heat detector automatically sounds the home fire alarm security system to warn you of a possible fire while quickly alerting Broadview Security fire monitoring professionals to notify assistance right away*.

FACT: 80% of all civilian fire deaths resulted from home structure fires.1

If you own a smoke detector, you obviously realize how effective they are in helping prevent loss of life and property. But, it is important to understand the differences between the stand-alone battery-operated smoke detector you buy at the store and a monitored home heat and smoke detector installed as part of the Broadview Security system. Battery-operated/non-monitored home heat and smoke detectors are not connected to other smoke detectors or warning devices.

The Broadview Security home heat and smoke detector is connected to the Broadview Security control panel and is monitored by the Broadview Security Alarm Monitoring Center 24 hours a day!. If smoke or unusually high temperature is detected, the Broadview Security heat and smoke detector sets off an alarm and a signal is sent to our monitoring center. Broadview Security, in turn, notifies the fire department, then calls you to verify the alarm*. The monitored Broadview Security heat and smoke detector provides a quick link to the Broadview Security Monitoring Center, whether you are at home, away from home, sound asleep or unable to get to the phone.

There are many advantages to installing the monitored Broadview Security smoke detector:
  • They can provide early warning of potential fire.
  • Once smoke or unusual heat is detected, the fire alarm sounds and a signal is sent to Broadview Security. Broadview Security, in turn, notifies the fire department, then calls you to verify the alarm*.
  • The Broadview Security fire alarm is designed to be loud enough to wake even the soundest sleeper.
  • You have the peace of mind from knowing your home is being watched, whether you are at home, at work, out for the evening or unable to reach the phone.
