Integrated motion detectors come standard with all Broadview Security systems.
The motion detector monitors open areas of your home such as hallways, foyers, and other large living spaces. It is a small security product that will typically be installed near the top of a wall or high corner, giving it the widest range of detection coverage.
The Broadview Security motion detector features a special Dual Detection Technology design that allows it to monitor not only movements, but also body heat. This advanced dual sensing technology helps prevent false alarms and monitors movement in the light or the dark.
When the security system is armed, the motion detector trips the alarm if it detects movement and body heat. This sends a signal to alert the Broadview Security 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Centers of a security breach, and you will be contacted by phone to verify your safety. Broadview Security will also contact authorities if necessary.
You can bypass the motion detectors if you are at home and still wish to help protect your loved ones using the intrusion alarm.
By turning off the motion detector, you can freely walk around your home without setting off the alarm, while still having the peace of mind of knowing the Broadview Security system is on duty.
